The PAOC’s work in Kenya began in 1918. The Kenyan Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) has over 2,000 congregations. Nairobi Pentecostal Church now ministers to over 15,000 people every week and is impacting the nation. The national church still looks to the PAOC to provide specialized assistance in leadership training, medical work, media ministry as well as helping with building projects for churches and Bible school facilities.Kenya is a strategic centre for reaching East Africa, and indeed, the entire continent. Pan Africa Christian College (PACC) currently trains Christian leaders from 25 countries worldwide. Also, Christian Religious Awareness for Teachers (CREATE) is a PAOC ministry that trains hundreds of Kenyan teachers to effectively reach the next generation with the gospel as they teach Religious Education in the schools. Many churches in Kenya still lack adequatley trained pastoral leadership. That is why the PAOC chose to start district Bible training as a ministry to train and equip pastors and lay leaders in their home locations
