Thailand is a proud and ancient land whose name means ‘the land of the free’. It is the only nation in Southern Asia never colonized by a European power. Though it calls itself the land of the free, most of Thailand’s people are enmeshed in a complex web of cultural and spiritual bondage where occultism, spiritism and Buddhism prevail. A huge sex trade, illegal drug industry and several crime syndicates flourish.
The PAOC is actively engaged in four areas:
1. teaching English as an evangelistic tool,
2. caring for 250 children and 60 babies with the HIV virus through the ChildCARE Plus (CCP) program and Agape Home,
3. planting new churches (Nine new churches in the last three years), and
4. providing leadership training for all ages – from youth to mature leaders.
Our goal is to raise up strong evangelistic Pentecostal congregations under the able leadership of Thai pastors. As in most parts of the world, training pastoral leaders is crucial to effective long-term outreach. Since 1967, the PAOC has helped train over 100 pastors at Thailand Pentecostal Bible College in Bangkok.

The training of godly leaders must be pursued with vigor if the gospel is to have a lasting impact in Thailand. We are committed to this mission agenda with God’s help.

Prayer Focus

Pray that the strong spiritual forces of darkness that have held sway over the Thai people and their culture for centuries may be defeated. Ask God to open the eyes of this nation to the truth of the gospel. Pray for fresh vision and direction for our work in this difficult field. Ask God to raise up more strong national leaders.
